This is one of my favorite songs of all time, but I can’t tell you why because I don’t know. It could be the fact that it’s instrumentally just beautiful, the fact that I’m absolutely in love with Andrew Bird, or both (:
He’s an amazing musician, and seeing this man perform live in concert was just an awe-inspiring experience. Me and my sister were just mesmerized by him, and by the time we left the performance, both of our cheeks hurt from smiling through the whole thing.
It just sort of happens.
I don’t realize I do it, but when I listen to his music, I can’t help but smile. Watching him perform had an amplified effect, and it was an experience that I’m glad I got to be apart of.
